White-necked Pine-beetle
Dichelonyx albicollis
Adult white-necked pine-beetles occur around forest edges, clearings, and pine-associated woodland. They fly among foliage and flowers, feeding on leaves and other soft plant material. The pale neck region contrasting with the darker body gives this small scarab its common name.
