Snout
Hypena proboscidalis

Adult Snouts occur in gardens, hedgerows, woodland clearings, and other vegetated habitats. They are mostly nocturnal, flying after dark and visiting flowers for nectar. During the day, their mottled brown wings and distinctive projecting palps give them a leaf-like, well-hidden resting posture.
