Glassy-Winged Sharpshooter
Homalodisca vitripennis

Adults inhabit gardens, woodland edges, vineyards, and citrus groves across warm parts of the Americas. They feed on xylem sap from many different plants and readily fly between host plants. Their broad host range makes them important vectors of the plant disease Pierce's disease.
