Domestic Yak
Bos grunniens

Domestic yaks live on high-altitude grazing land, where their dense coats protect them from severe cold and wind. They feed mainly on grasses, sedges, and other hardy alpine plants, using their broad muzzles to crop sparse vegetation. Both sexes carry sturdy horns, which can be used in forceful defensive headbutts.
