Kidney-Spotted Minor
Lacinipolia renigera

Adult Kidney-Spotted Minors inhabit open woods, forest edges, old fields, and gardens across much of North America. They fly chiefly at night and are often drawn to lights, while resting quietly on bark or leaf litter during the day. The adult moth uses its subdued, kidney-marked forewings as camouflage when settled.
