Dark Arches
Apamea monoglypha
This moth flies at night in grassland, gardens, woodland edges, and other open habitats. Adults visit flowers and may take sugary liquids, while spending daylight hours resting in sheltered places. The dark, streaked forewings provide effective camouflage against bark and dead vegetation.
