Hammerjawed Jumper
Zygoballus rufipes

Adults hunt on foliage, bark, and the ground in warm, vegetated habitats. They creep close to flies, ants, and other small arthropods before making a rapid, accurate jump. The enlarged chelicerae that give this jumper its name are especially noticeable during close-range displays and prey handling.
