Waterlily Leafcutter Moth
Synclita obliteralis

Adult waterlily leafcutter moths rest around ponds, marshes, and slow-moving waterways where their host plants grow. They fly mainly at night and seek out waterlilies and related plants on which to lay eggs. Their pale, patterned wings blend surprisingly well with pale leaves and reflections at the water's edge.
