Grey Pug
Eupithecia subfuscata

Grey Pugs inhabit woodland edges, hedgerows, gardens, and scrub where their caterpillar food plants grow. Adults are chiefly active at night and fly with a light, fluttering motion, sometimes visiting flowers for nectar. Their variable grey-brown wing markings make this common moth difficult to distinguish from several related pug moths.
