Black-legged Kittiwake
Rissa tridactyla

Black-legged Kittiwakes spend much of the year over cold northern seas, returning to steep coastal cliffs to breed. They feed chiefly on small schooling fish, crustaceans, and other surface-dwelling marine prey. Unlike many gulls, the adult has black legs and a delicate, high-pitched call.
