Rusty Millipede
Trigoniulus corallinus

The adult rusty millipede occupies moist gardens, forest litter, rotting wood, and compost-rich ground. It spends most of its time feeding on decaying vegetation and helping break organic material down into soil. Its conspicuous reddish body warns predators of the pungent defensive chemicals it releases when threatened.
