Common Pug Caterpillar
Eupithecia vulgata (caterpillar)
This caterpillar lives on broad-leaved trees and shrubs in woodland edges, hedgerows, gardens, and orchards. It feeds by chewing the leaves and developing flowers of its host plants. Its slender green or brown body and rigid resting posture help it resemble a small twig.
