Dotted Border Caterpillar
Agriopis marginaria (larva)

Dotted Border caterpillars feed on the leaves of deciduous trees and shrubs, especially hawthorn, blackthorn, willow, and oak. Their green or brown bodies and twig-like posture help them disappear among young shoots. They move with the looping gait typical of inchworms and may remain motionless when disturbed.
