Juliform Millipede
Cylindroiulus caeruleocinctus
The adult juliform millipede inhabits moist gardens, woodland leaf litter, and soil rich in decomposing vegetation. It spends much of its time burrowing through loose debris and feeding on dead leaves, soft plant material, and fungi. Its many legs move in rippling waves, while its hard body rings and defensive secretions help deter predators.
