Lesser Glasshouse Millipede
Cylindroiulus britannicus

Adults inhabit moist gardens, compost heaps, leaf litter, and greenhouses, spending much of their time beneath debris or in soil. They are slow-moving detritivores that consume rotting vegetation and associated fungi. Their many body segments bear chemical glands that release an unpleasant defensive secretion when threatened.
