Longspined Porcupinefish
Diodon holocanthus

Adults inhabit tropical coral reefs, lagoons, and nearby sandy seabeds, often resting in crevices during the day. They use fused, beaklike teeth to crush sea urchins, crabs, mollusks, and other hard-bodied prey. A threatened adult can inflate dramatically, locking its long spines outward to make swallowing difficult.
