Goldtail Demoiselle
Chrysiptera parasema
Adult goldtail demoiselles inhabit sheltered coral reefs in the western Pacific, especially around branching corals. They feed on drifting zooplankton and small amounts of algae, often making short forays from cover. Adults can be notably territorial, chasing intruding fish away from their chosen patch of reef.
