Horn Shark
Heterodontus francisci

Adult horn sharks inhabit temperate coastal reefs, kelp forests, and sandy areas along the seafloor. Mostly active at night, they use powerful jaws to eat sea urchins, crustaceans, and mollusks. Their two dorsal fins bear sharp defensive spines, giving the species its common name.
