Copperband Butterflyfish
Chelmon rostratus

Adults inhabit coral reefs and sheltered lagoons across the western Pacific and eastern Indian Ocean. They use their long, narrow snouts to probe deep into cracks for worms, small crustaceans, and other invertebrates. A dark eyespot near the rear of the body can misdirect predators away from the head.
