Silver Moony
Monodactylus argenteus

Adult Silver Moony inhabit brackish estuaries, mangrove channels, and coastal waters near reefs. They feed on algae, small crustaceans, and other small invertebrates, using their flattened bodies to maneuver through structured shallows. Adults can tolerate wide changes in salinity, allowing them to move between fresh-influenced estuaries and marine habitats.
