Jandaya Parakeet
Aratinga jandaya

Adult Jandaya Parakeets inhabit dry forests, palm groves, and woodland edges in northeastern Brazil. They forage in trees for fruit, seeds, nuts, berries, and blossoms, using their strong curved bills to break open food. Their vivid yellow-orange head and green wings make them one of the most brightly colored South American parakeets.
