Porcupinefish
Diodon hystrix

Adult porcupinefish inhabit coral reefs, rocky bottoms, and coastal waters throughout warm seas. They use strong fused teeth to crush hard-shelled prey such as mollusks, crabs, and sea urchins. When alarmed, they gulp water to become a spiny, nearly spherical target that many predators cannot swallow.
