Tapeti
Sylvilagus brasiliensis

The tapeti inhabits tropical forests, thickets, grasslands, and cultivated edges across much of Central and South America. It feeds mainly on grasses, herbs, leaves, shoots, and fallen fruit, usually foraging near cover. When threatened, it freezes in vegetation or bursts away in a fast, zigzagging run.
