Song Thrush
Turdus philomelos

An adult song thrush lives in woodland, hedgerows, parks, and gardens across much of Europe and nearby regions. It forages on the ground for worms, insects, snails, and berries, often using a favored stone as an anvil to break snail shells. Its clear song is famous for repeating short phrases from a high perch. In breeding season it defends territory with calls, chases, and close aerial pressure.
