Decorated Owlet Moth
Pangrapta decoralis
The adult Decorated Owlet Moth is active mostly at night in wooded habitats and around forest edges. It flies among trees and may visit flowers for nectar while avoiding daytime predators in sheltered resting places. Its patterned wings provide camouflage against bark and dead leaves when it rests with its wings folded.
