Bumblebee Cichlid
Pseudotropheus crabro

Bumblebee Cichlids inhabit rocky areas of Lake Malawi, where their dark barred pattern blends into shadowed crevices. They pick at algae and invertebrates, but also raid the nests of other cichlids for eggs and fry. Adults are known for entering the tunnels of large catfish to feed, using their striped coloration as camouflage in the dim spaces.
