Common Tan Wave
Pleuroprucha insulsaria
Adult Common Tan Waves inhabit warm wooded areas, scrub, and nearby gardens, becoming active chiefly after dusk. They fly in short, wavering flights and rest with their patterned wings blending into bark, dead leaves, or pale walls. The subtle tan cross-lines on the wings give this small moth its common name.
