Jewelled Blenny
Salarias fasciatus
Adult jewelled blennies inhabit shallow tropical reefs, rocky shores, and algae-covered coral rubble. They spend much of the day perching close to the bottom and grazing algae from hard surfaces. Though small, they may defend a favored feeding crevice with open-mouth displays and quick bites.
