Threadfin Butterflyfish
Chaetodon auriga

Adults inhabit coral-rich lagoons and seaward reefs throughout the Indo-Pacific. They use their narrow snouts to pick coral polyps, worms, and small crustaceans from crevices. The long trailing filament on the dorsal fin gives this species its common name.
