Rhinoceros Beetle
Dichotomius satanas
Adult rhinoceros beetles inhabit forest floors and pasture edges where dung is available. They feed on dung and excavate tunnels for nesting, often burying food beneath the soil. Males use their prominent horns to push and wrestle rival males away from breeding sites.
