Zebu
Bos indicus

Zebus inhabit hot tropical and subtropical grasslands, dry scrub, and agricultural landscapes. They feed chiefly on grasses, browsing leaves and crop residue when available. Their prominent shoulder hump stores muscle and fat reserves, while loose skin and a dewlap help them cope with heat. Adults defend themselves with forceful horn thrusts, headbutts, and kicks.
