Dunnock
Prunella modularis

Adult dunnocks inhabit hedgerows, woodland edges, parks, and overgrown gardens, usually keeping close to dense cover. They forage quietly on the ground for insects, spiders, seeds, and berries, flicking through litter with a fine bill. Despite their plain appearance, dunnocks have an unusually complex mating system, with individuals often maintaining more than one breeding partner.
