Centre-barred Sallow
Atethmia centrago
The adult Centre-barred Sallow is a nocturnal moth found in woodland edges, hedgerows, and gardens with suitable broadleaved trees. It flies after dark and visits flowers for nectar, while females seek host plants on which to lay eggs. Its patterned forewings help it blend into bark and dead leaves when resting by day.
