Painted Spiny Lobster
Panulirus versicolor

Adult painted spiny lobsters inhabit coral reefs and rocky lagoons across the tropical Indo-Pacific. They emerge chiefly at night to forage for mollusks, crustaceans, sea urchins, and carrion. Unlike true lobsters, they lack large claws and rely on a hard shell, sharp antennae, and a powerful tail-flick escape.
