Striated cone
Conus striatus

The adult striated cone inhabits tropical Indo-Pacific reefs, lagoons, and sandy seafloors. Usually active at night, it ambushes small fishes and immobilizes them with a venomous, harpoon-like radular tooth. Its boldly striped shell conceals one of the most potent venoms among marine snails.
