Siamese Pointy-tailed Millipede
Thyropygus allevatus

Adults inhabit humid tropical forests, sheltering beneath leaf litter, fallen timber, and loose soil. They slowly process decaying plant material, helping return nutrients to the forest floor. When disturbed, the millipede coils its armored body and releases irritating defensive chemicals from glands along its sides.
