Common Flower Bug
Anthocoris nemorum

The adult Common Flower Bug is a tiny predatory true bug found in gardens, woodland edges, orchards, hedgerows, and flowering vegetation. It feeds on aphids, mites, thrips, psyllids, small larvae, and eggs by piercing them with its rostrum. Adults can fly between plants and often overwinter tucked into bark, leaf litter, or sheltered vegetation. Although not a blood-feeder, it can occasionally give people a sharp exploratory bite.
