Field Damsel Bug
Nabis ferus
The adult Field Damsel Bug hunts through meadows, field margins, and agricultural crops. It waits among stems and foliage before rapidly seizing small insects with its grasping front legs and piercing beak. Fully developed wings allow it to disperse between hunting areas, and it is a useful predator of many crop pests.
