Grey Top Shell
Steromphala cineraria

This small marine snail lives on rocky shores and among seaweed in shallow coastal waters. It grazes films of algae from rocks using its rasping radula, often sheltering in crevices when exposed by the tide. Its grey, conical shell helps it blend into stony surfaces and protects it from predators.
