Golden-Bloomed Grey Longhorn Beetle
Agapanthia villosoviridescens
Adults inhabit meadows, field margins, and other sunny places with tall herbaceous vegetation. They crawl over stems and foliage, feeding on plant material and visiting flowers, while females seek suitable stems for egg-laying. The grey-green body is densely coated in fine hairs, giving this longhorn beetle its softly frosted appearance.
