White Potworm
Enchytraeus albidus

White potworms live in moist soils, compost, leaf litter, and along decaying seaweed deposits near coasts. They tunnel through organic-rich substrate, feeding on fungi, bacteria, algae, and decomposing plant material. Their pale, translucent body and tiny bristles help them move through narrow soil spaces, and they are important decomposers in cool, damp habitats.
