Bank Vole
Myodes glareolus

Bank voles live in woodland, hedgerows, rough grass, and gardens, using shallow burrows and dense cover for shelter. They forage mainly for seeds, berries, green plant matter, roots, and fungi, but may also eat small invertebrates. A nimble climber as well as a digger, this vole can cache food supplies and remains active through winter.
