Tissue Moth
Triphosa haesitata

Adult Tissue Moths inhabit woods, scrub, and sheltered rocky places, resting flat against bark or stone during the day. They fly mostly at night and may take nectar or other liquid food when available. Their mottled brown-and-grey wings resemble weathered leaves, and adults commonly overwinter in protected crevices or caves.
