Greenhouse Whitefly
Trialeurodes vaporariorum

Adults inhabit greenhouses, gardens, and sheltered crop fields where they rest on the undersides of leaves. They feed by inserting slender mouthparts into plant tissue and drinking phloem sap. A powdery white wax coating covers the wings, giving the insect its familiar pale appearance.
