European Grain Moth
Nemapogon granella

Adult European grain moths occur around stored foods, granaries, animal nests, and other dry sheltered sites. They are mainly active in dim conditions and fly in short, fluttering bursts. Adults drink little or do not feed substantially, relying on reserves accumulated as larvae. The pale, mottled wings help break up their outline when resting on dusty surfaces.
