Australian Grass Pyrgomorph
Atractomorpha australis
Adults inhabit grassy Australian landscapes, where they rest on vegetation and feed on a range of leaves and grasses. They use powerful hind legs to jump away from threats and can make short flights between plants. Their enlarged wings distinguish them from nymphs and allow them to disperse more widely.
