Asian Honey Bee
Apis cerana

Asian honey bees live in colonies in tree hollows, rock crevices, and managed hives across much of Asia. Adults fly between flowers to gather nectar and pollen, with workers also tending brood and defending the nest. They can communicate profitable food locations through a waggle dance and defend themselves with a venomous sting.
