Threeband Gardenslug
Ambigolimax valentianus

The threeband gardenslug is a terrestrial semi-slug found in gardens, parks, greenhouses, and other damp, sheltered places, often hiding beneath stones, pots, and leaf litter by day. It is chiefly active at night or in wet weather, grazing on decaying plant matter, fungi, algae, and sometimes soft garden plants. Three dark longitudinal bands usually run along its pale body, though their strength can vary. Like other semi-slugs, it has a reduced shell beneath the mantle and can shed part of its tail when attacked.
