Wheat Bug
Nysius huttoni

Adult wheat bugs inhabit open fields, pasture, and cultivated crops, especially where seed-bearing plants are abundant. They use their piercing mouthparts to draw nutrients from seeds, grains, and other plant material. Unlike the nymphs, adults have fully developed wings and can disperse readily between host plants.
