Serval
Leptailurus serval

Servals inhabit African grasslands, wetlands, and reed-filled areas, where tall vegetation provides cover for hunting. They feed mainly on rodents, birds, frogs, and insects, locating prey with exceptionally large ears. A serval often stalks quietly before making a high vertical pounce to seize prey with its forepaws. Its long legs give it one of the tallest shoulder heights of any small cat.
